Inspired by the changing of the seasons, this ultimately hopeful piece invokes folk styles and features a simple guitar accompaniment. The subtle shifting of meter throughout adds interest, and the simple harmonic framework allows for additional improvisation. Two-parts with an additional descant make this piece an interesting and accessible work for ensembles of all kinds. Excellent for teaching head voice singing.
